Drug-free Gazipur 23 wards

Gazipur City Corporation Ward 23 Councilor candidate Mohammad Raihan Ahmed (Shahin Dorji) has taken several positive steps and awareness campaigns to make the area drug-free.

His anti-drug stance and some important points related to this are highlighted below:

1. "Either quit drugs or quit Ward 23"

This is one of the main and bold slogans of his anti-drug campaign. He has clearly warned that there will be no place for any drug dealer or drug user in Ward 23. He has given a strong message to drug dealers to leave the area to bring the society back to a healthy trend.

2. Calling on the youth to the path of light

Shahin Dorji believes that it is not possible to completely eradicate drugs through legal measures alone; for this, the young society needs to be made aware. He called on the youth and said:

"The one who tells you to do drugs can never be a friend. Say 'no' to drugs, love your family and walk on the path of light to build a healthy society."

3. Focus on sports and social activities

To keep the young generation away from drugs, he is emphasizing on various positive initiatives in the area:

Sports and Education: He is encouraging the youth to focus on education and sports instead of being lazy or distracted.

Social Development: He is involving the youth in public welfare activities like cleaning the roads of the area and planting trees, so that they get motivated to be busy with good deeds.

4. Solidarity with law and order

He has expressed his determination to work hand in hand with the administration and law enforcement forces along with the general public, so that the drug network can be completely uprooted from Ward No. 23.
