Health and Social Security

Healthy people are the foundation of a developed society. Therefore, ensuring healthcare and ensuring the safety and welfare of every person in the society is one of the main responsibilities of a public representative. I, Raihan Ahmed Shahin (Shahin Darji), as a councilor candidate for Ward 23 of Gazipur City Corporation, believe that it is possible to build a beautiful, safe and prosperous ward only if the good health and social security of the people are ensured.

My goal will be for every person in the ward to easily receive primary healthcare. I will work to make healthcare more accessible for children, women, the elderly and the disabled by coordinating with the relevant institutions to take regular healthcare activities, health awareness and cleanliness initiatives. I will try to conduct awareness activities with the citizens to create a clean environment to prevent dengue, chikungunya and other diseases.

The issue of maternal health and healthy development of the child will be given special importance. There will be efforts to take collaborative initiatives with the relevant institutions to increase health awareness of pregnant mothers, promote child vaccination programs and increase awareness about nutrition.

In the field of social security, my commitment will also be to stand by the helpless, poor, widows, elderly, disabled and disadvantaged people. I will try to ensure maximum cooperation and monitoring so that the benefits of government social security programs reach the real beneficiaries in a transparent and fair manner. That will be my top priority so that no helpless person is deprived of his or her just rights.

I express my determination to work together with the local people, teachers, guardians, youth and social organizations to create social awareness against drugs, terrorism, child marriage, and violence against women and children. Our goal will be to ensure the participation of everyone in building a safe and humane society.

Ensuring clean roads, safe water, improved sanitation and a healthy environment is also an important part of public health. Therefore, I will try to take effective initiatives by involving citizens to build an environmentally friendly and clean Ward No. 23.

I believe that being by the side of the people as a public representative is not only a responsibility, it is a moral commitment. I want to work sincerely to build a healthy, safe, humane and developed Ward No. 23 with the cooperation of everyone, giving utmost importance to the opinions of the people.
