Infrastructure and road communication

Improved infrastructure and sustainable communication systems are essential to build a modern, safe and livable ward. The long-standing problems of Ward 23, such as dilapidated roads, waterlogging, inadequate drainage system and incomplete infrastructure development, have made the daily life of the common man difficult. Ensuring permanent solutions to these problems will be the main goal of development.
Shahin Dorji's plan is to make every road in the ward passable. Roads that have been waiting for renovation for a long time will be repaired quickly and new roads will be built as needed. At the same time, alleys, connecting roads and important traffic routes will be improved to make people's travel easier and safer.
Along with road development, special emphasis will be given to developing a modern drainage system. To remove waterlogging during the monsoon season, effective drain construction, renovation of old drains and regular cleaning will be ensured. This will keep the environment good and public health will be protected.
As part of infrastructure development, initiatives will be taken to develop sidewalks, culverts, bridges, adequate lighting on the roadside and necessary public service facilities. Women, children, the elderly and the disabled will also be given importance in building infrastructure so that everyone can enjoy citizen benefits equally.
The opinion of the people will be given utmost importance in development activities. Initiatives will be taken to implement the type of work required in an area by discussing with the local residents and taking priority. The main goal will be to gain the trust of the people by ensuring transparency, accountability and proper supervision in development projects.
